By this time you should be asking: 'Without knowing what the future holds, how can the posting of daily entries possibly end in a heroic tale?'

Again, NOT TO WORRY!

By judging daily entries against

MHdiaries checklists

and frequently reviewing your personal goals

spelled out in plain English,

your actions and your life

as you choose to live it,

sets into motion

both your personal story and its plot.

The urgency to which you pursue your goals determines your story's potential appeal and how it will stand up to the test of time.

Plot can arise out of many things. Common examples include addressing life's struggles, challenges, conflicts, a reawakening or a life-changing event with time running out. Keep an eye out for them and post about them as they occur.

However, what tends to be a fail-safe approach is to clearly articulate goals and document your active pursuit of them. No matter how uneventful your life apparently seems, pursuing goals always produces a story to tell.

Another reason not to be discouraged by the absence of a plot is that your memoirs will still be a much better read for referencing MHdiaries. Even without a plot, it guides you to incorporate all of the other elements of entertaining storytelling which continue to apply. Establishing character, setting, point of view, style, theme, mood/voice and symbols can provide more than enough flavour to evolve your writing into a bio worthy of the time others will invest to read it.

It simplifies the eventual transcribing process:

The ultimate conversion of your diary into your bestseller essentially becomes a rewrite rather than starting from scratch. Story progression will already be in place having evolved over time with the daily revisits and revisions. Postings should already demonstrate dramatic purpose in terms of either characterization or advancing the plot.

You become an active catalyst of change in your life:

Just as mentioned above, how the act of periodically posting to a diary can spill over into your daily life, so too can MHdiaries! By following the path a literary hero would take to resolve problems will indirectly influence your daily decisions as you address problems and face life. You become a risk-taking agent-of-change rather than a passive spectator watching events happen to you. You become the hero in your own life instead of leaving it up to fate. Your situation in life should be better for the journey taken with MHdiaries as your guide.

Approach life as a story to be told.

Every life is worth remembering

and writing about.

There's a heroic tale in everyone.

Be the hero in your life.

It's your life. Don't leave it to others.

You have to do it.

Capture it as it happens in your own words using MHdiaries.
